I recently purchased this book because my daughter is a junior in high school and we wanted to have a better understanding of the financial aid process. I felt the book was very informative and easy to understand. I liked how the chapters started with real life personal stories about different families the author has worked with. The book also provided information on searching for scholarships and detailed the different types of loans available. I would recommend this book to anyone who has children in high school.
This is a must-have for any parent! Easy to read and understand. I especially appreciate that Jodi calls out important items throughout the book: 'Good to Know" - tips most of us don't know, "Let's Talk" - talking points to help with important conversations with your child, and "The Bottom Line" - key points of every chapter. Well done!
The first 60 pages had nothing to do with financial aid. It took too long to get into the meat of the book.
