just purchase just started reading all ready lost 10lbs blood sugar drop from 132 to 109. A must read the best book on diabetes I have read.Its hats off to Dr. Poothullil A true gem.
This book explains Type II Diabetes in a clear and concise way. Before reading it I had started to make partial changes recommended by Dr. Poothullil. The results has been significantly lower HA1c, lipid panel numbers and blood pressure, as well weight loss (more than 13% of my starting weight). Also off 2 of 4 medications. I am looking forward to implementing further changes suggested in this book to fully restore my health. I hope doctors will read this book and take it seriously. I have suggested it to several doctors. Thank you Dr. Poothullil for making relieving my anxiety and providing answers and motivation.
Dr. Poothullil has opened my eyes to the true culprit of my type 2 diabetes. I have already begun to implement his solutions in my daily diet. Thank you for all of your efforts in bringing this disease into the light. I always thought I would be stuck with this "disease" for the rest of my life, Dr. Poothullil has given me fresh hope in changing that outlook.
What I liked the most about this book is that it is NOT a Vehicle to sell you other products from this author.Relying on info from this book helped to reduce my A1C from 6.9% (clinical definition of diabetes) to 5.4% (normal range) in six months without any medications.I monitor my blood glucose religiously every morning and sometimes in the afternoon or evening. As such I can see the consequences of what I ate the day before the blood glucose test.I highly recommend this book.
Was recently diagnosed that I am a T2D!Just reading the six foot disclosure pamphlet that came with metformin scared the crap out of me. Decided then there has to be a better, simpler way to treat T2D. This book is a must read! T2D, is reversible.I now have read and researched several books and articles by doctors who challenged the system with research and facts. Educate yourself and beat T2D!
He has credible new ideas about carbohydrate mentabolism and insulin resistance.
I've enjoyed reading his view on type 2 diabetes. It gave me some new things to think about.
